Most women enjoy the company of other women. This is no exception with men. A guy’s night out is as important as a gal’s night out with other women. But who exactly are your companions? Do they aid you in becoming a better man or woman? A better husband or wife? Are the things that you do together activities that your spouse would approve? Good men and women have a positive effect on one another-iron sharpening iron. Friends whose activities skirt the edge of sin will ultimately lead to compromise. Choose good companion for friendship. Sharpen them, and allow then to sharpen you.

Thank you, God. for my friends. I pray that we could grow closer as brothers and sisters in Christ and encouragers of one another. I pray you will give me a sense of when we’re veering off track and help us steady ourselves in you. I ask that you enable me to sense when a friend is going through a rough patch and needs my counsel or just my friendship. I pray for friends in my life who will sharpen me like iron and whom i may also sharpen.
