In some marriages, the husband is more sexually inclined than the wife. Of course, thats not always the case. Sometimes wives complain of their husband’s “dead battery.” Sexual intimacy is by God’s design and for the mutual benefit of both marriage partners. If either of you is out of sync with the other regarding sexual compatibility, you can begin by praying about it together. You can also see a good counsellor. There are also excellent books available out there that can help.

Keep in mind, though, that neither partner should ask the other to do something they are uncomfortable doing. That robs the partner of the joy of sexual intimacy. Lord thank you for the intimacy that is the ultimate physical expression of romantic love. I pray that my wife and I would each work towards complete sexual compatibility that leaves us both fulfilled. Remove from my life or my wife’s life any impediments to our sexual happiness. May every aspect of our love including sexual intimacy, be glorying to you.
